Cheetah Chase, a water coaster at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus Indiana, is the world's first launched water coaster which opened on July 4, 2020. Costing around $7 million, Cheetah Chase is the world’s first full-circuit racing water coaster and was manufactured by ProSlide. It operates at a speed of 30 feet per second.
